Smokey Shadows Lodge, a log and stone building is a former gristmill moved from its original Cataloochee Valley location to its picturesque perch, forty-five hundred. Sleeping cat give the porch a comfy feel conducive to midday napping. We are located just 30 minutes west of Asheville and border the Blue Ridge Parkway which runs through the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.
